This week is game week five of the Champions League group stages and as many of the groups are still up for grabs we have some great games taking place. The game of the round is on Wednesday when two of Europe’s biggest clubs meet as Juventus host Barcelona. A win for Barcelona would seal the group for them, while a draw or a victory for Juventus would take it down to the last game to decide who finishes top of Group D.
Manchester City and Chelsea look to have the easiest games of the English clubs, while Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United all have tricky away ties in front of them. Manchester City have already qualified so they may rest a few players, but should still beat a Feyenoord team who have been very disappointing so far this season. Chelsea have an away game against FK Qarabag and should they win that they will qualify for the next round, and give themselves a chance to reclaim top spot from Roma.
Manchester United head to Basel knowing that a draw in the game would be enough for them to qualify for the next round and go through as group winners. Basel still have the chance to qualify so expect to see them push United hard in this one. Liverpool face Sevilla in a game that will probably decide who wins the group, so both teams will be looking to win what should be a very good game. Lastly, Tottenham have already qualified but will want to win their group and anything they get from Dortmund will really boost their chances of doing that.
With 16 games over two days, there is a lot of football to take a look at. Here are our predictions on what will happen this week.

What Games are on TV?
You are able to watch every game live on BT Sport this week, across their various different platforms including the red button. The listings for the English teams and the big game of the week can be found below.
Borussia Dortmund v Tottenham – Tuesday 19:45, BT Sport 3
Tottenham already have a place in the next round and are currently three points clear at the top of Group H. They have two games, including this one, to secure that top spot and a potentially easier draw in the next round, although Real Madrid are sure to push them hard. This is the last chance saloon for Dortmund, they have to win their final two games and hope Real Madrid lose both of theirs. That looks unlikely, so Dortmund will probably head into the Europa League after the groups have ended. Tottenham can go to Germany and grind out a draw from this one.
Manchester City v Feyenoord – Tuesday 19:45, BT Sport ESPN
Manchester City have already qualified for the next round and have a three-point cushion at the top of the table as they aim for top spot. They have been fantastic so far during qualifying, winning all four of their games and they look set to pick up their 5th victory in this one. Feyenoord are rooted to the bottom of the table and have yet to pick up a point in four games that will extend to five games after this one on Tuesday night. This should be a comfortable evening for Manchester City.
Sevilla v Liverpool – Tuesday 19:45, BT Sport 2
This game is probably going to decide who wins group E, Liverpool currently have the advantage but they are just one point clear of Sevilla, so anything could happen. With Spartak Moscow just behind these two, both will want to win to ensure they keep ahead going into the final round of games. In that final round, Liverpool would play Spartak Moscow so if things don’t go their way in this one, that will be a group deciding game should Moscow win their game this week. Sevilla have a great chance of putting themselves in pole position to win the group, and that is something I think they will do on Tuesday.
FK Qarabag v Chelsea – Wednesday 17:00, BT Sport 2
Chelsea fell into second place after losing against Roma in the last round, but they will qualify with a win here tonight, despite what happens in the other games or the final round. They currently have a four-point cushion over Atletico Madrid and it looks highly likely that Chelsea will qualify for the next round. Group leaders Roma have a tough trip to Madrid this week, so Chelsea could find themselves back on top if things go their way in round five. Chelsea should win this game comfortably, sealing their qualification in the process.
Basel v Manchester United – Wednesday 19:45, BT Sport 2
Manchester United need just a draw to secure both qualification to the next round and top spot in the group. That can come from any of their next two games, but I suspect they will want to complete the job away in Basel, so they can rest players in their final game. Basel are tied with CSKA Moscow for second spot and will be battling hard to get something from this game, and I think they can do, with a draw looking the likeliest result in this one.
Juventus v Barcelona – Wednesday 19:45, BT Sport ESPN
This is the game of the week and one many people will tune in for I am sure. These two look set to qualify for the next round of the Champions League, but they will battle it out for top spot. A win for Juventus will leave the teams level going into the final round of games so that should make for a hugely exciting game between these two on Wednesday. In what is sure to be a huge occasion for them, Juventus can rise to it and beat the Spanish giants, keeping their hopes of top spot in the group alive.
